Good Afternoon,
I hope you are well and trying to find some normality in this extraordinary situation.
I will be updating my website on a weekly basis to offer opportunities for students to engage in some academic work while we are not physically in school.
Please note that any resources I make available for students are to be completed purely on a voluntary basis. Work is not graded or used toward grading and there is no penalty should students choose not to complete any work. That being said, It may be helpful to keep stimulating our brains and challenging ourselves to recall previous learning or to voluntarily build on our skills when we have this gift of time.

Hello awesome students,
I want to let you know that we appreciate your patience as the Issaquah School District (ISD) and Skyline High School work together to formulate a plan for how to best support you through this extraordinary time.
Teachers are being advised not to teach new content that would require learning new skills but to work on activities using existing skills. This is a great opportunity to revise and relearn some of the topics we have covered thus far. Early next week I will be adding helpful websites and learning resources to my website for you to access. I will also include worksheets for you to practice your skills and apply them in different ways.
I will not be grading your work, however, you are welcome to submit anything to me to for correction and guidance. There is a place on this website if you want to send me a message. You can also take a picture of your work and email me at [email protected]
Never before has it been more important for you to take responsibility for your own learning. Your teachers will not be standing over you making you work, this is your choice. Remember all my lectures about preparing for the future?...this is a real opportunity for you to take control of your learning by making good choices for the 'future you'. Set aside time in your day to do academic work and then enjoy your free time.
I miss you all very much and hope you are keeping safe and well.
Kind regards,
Mrs. McIlwain
